organizing clips to send to client was created by David Stembridge
Hi there, I filmed some testimonials last weekend, and will be isolating roughly 7 responses, which will be sent to my client to add very basic graphics and and upload as standalone testimonials.
What I started doing (FCP 10.2.1), I have been creating keyword collections, and making a new project for each individual response, just in case they have me add the graphics for them. I created some folders to put the keyword collections.
Just curious if anyone has a different method I may be overlooking. This is the way I probably would have done with FCP 7; but using sequences of course.
Thanks!

Really no need for keywords or projects. Just make the soundbite selections you want and export the segments from the browser.

… maybe no need/use in your case, but…
What about timecodes?
you could create a new project for each interview, to have a clean start 00:00:00
or, put each interview on a 'flat' number, 00:10:00, 00:20:00 etc ...
for export, use ranges....
makes dialogue easier .....
