Speeding up motion template as generator?

Bought a motion template which is 30 seconds long, published it as a generator to fcpx so i can populate it with text and 19 clips (comic book style template)..

Its really slow to render and I know the client will want two or three versions of changes.

Is there any way of speeding things up? (using 4k footage downscaled to 1080 timeline)

PS been exporting a 30 second clip for an hour now, so slow

Yes check the rendering - see if you can turn anything off such as depth of field or reflections. Maybe even drop the quality.

Thanks Peter

I have exported the 30 second clip to a master 422 file, then imported it back onto the timeline and added the moving footage so its now 1min 30sec.

My work will be tomorrow when the client wants changes even though I have stated 1 edit on the animation. Apparently I can switch off the motion blur in the template (inside motion) but I've published it as a generator now but its sooooooooooooooo slow its killing me

Motion Blur can add a lot of rendering time for sure.

Creating history....one edit at a time !
