I have Hundreds of VST and AU Plugins in my mac. I do not use none of them in FCPX. Is there away to have them not show up in FCPX...I need narrow the my audio list down to a few. right now i have 100's of non used misc audio effects plugins.

No direct way to turn them off from appearing in FCPX without some possible 3rd party plugin manager. If you don't use them, the best way would be to uninstall them using the programs that created them. You can maybe remove them manually in either HD/Library/Audio/Plugins or User/Library/Audio/Plugins but this would affect any other apps that rely on them and you would also be left with possible preference files, caches and other components that were installed along with them.

Thank you for the question... I never took the time to see if you could create folders in the plug in section, not possible.
I guess send a feedback to Apple, requesting user created folders and or user enabled delete with FCPX of unneeded plug in's.
A plug in should you would have thought been able to be plugged out at some point!
