Import AVCHD footage from C100 Mark II into FCPX

I recently purchased a Canon C100 Mark II and when I shoot AVCHD and try to import into FCPX I can only import a fraction of the clips, even though I can view all of the clips on the camera. For example I shot B-roll this afternoon and have roughly 80 clips. When I try to import the footage into FCPX it only recognizes 6 of the 80 clips. Would love to hear if anyone is familiar with this issue.
