Does anyone remember an article that explained why the London Olympics chose to use FCPX for their editing other than other software?
I believe it was an article from this website, but I just can't seem to find it anywhere. The closest I got was the article called Final Cut Pro X in enterprise-level television production .
At the end of the article they mention that that the details details of the editing of the Olympic games were disclosed at some point:

I also would like to thank the Metronome management for allowing us to disclose the details of this project. Starting with the Olympic Games in 2012, we have been involved in quite some collaboration setups around FCPX.

The reason I'm looking for this article is that our management are thinking about moving to other software and I want to show that FCPX is the best for what we are trying to do.
I would really appreciate it if anyone has a link to that article somewhere! :side:

Hi Alexandre,

I don't have the link you are looking for but if you need any info re: FCPX in a broadcast environment don't hesitate to send me an email. I am working with the people at RTS in Geneva and was involved not only with moving form Avid to FCP7 to FCPX but also with the recent change of shared storage. You can reach me at patrice(at)edits.ch

Hey Alexandre,

I was the crazy guy who did the London Olympics with FCP X. I Also was involved in the Metronome project you have linked to, and in the RTS project mentioned by Patrice. If you want some help convincing your management to adopt FCP X, send me an e-mail: ronnycourtens@mac.com

I have plenty of great FCP X user cases I can share, some haven't even been published yet.

Hi Ronny, let me introduce myself. I'm working for a french television station in Montréal, Canada. I think you did a remarkable work in all your articles and we can say that is the thing we need to persuade the peoples to make the choice on FCP X.

If you accept the help me on this, it will be so wonderful. I took your personal address and we could stay in touch for further needs. If you did it for RTS, is that mean you speech french ? Just send me an email: guyweb@mac.com

Thank you in advance.
