Problem with Compressing Slow Motion from Final Cut Pro X

I normally use optical flow when doing slow motion of my 1080p 24fps footage. It looks great in Final Cut Pro. When I compress it in Compressor for both YouTube as well as for my iPad, the compressed version shows a choppy effect. I can't figure out why this is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wondering if you are exporting at 24 as well vs 30 re the choppiness.
You can try exporting a 422 from FCP first then putting that through compressor. Or if it's a compressor setting maybe you're trying to compress too much and it's showing, but it sounds like FPS issue vs quality.

Are you doing a "Send To Compressor" function, or exporting as a Master File (ProRes full resolution) and then going to Compressor?
I'd recommend just exporting a Master File (ProRes) and uploading that to YouTube.

Does your project and your exports match frame rates?
