Maybe some could just vent with me. All I want is batch syncing in FCP X and at this point I'd be happy.
I am so tired and annoyed having to go to Premiere Pro, PluralEyes, WooWave Dreamsync, DaVinci just to batch sync. They are all fine products, but fall short of handling syncing and syncing files the way FCP X does (in my opinion). Too often other apps won't sync files that FCP X will for me, but I still have to organize content in ways to be able to first select the content then sync it. And if production wasn't on their game, it makes things for editors even more difficult.
Perhaps there's a technical reason why Apple has not implemented this. Perhaps it's a memory issue. I'd even take this specific feature being rolled into Compressor, but that'd be misleading.
Sync-n-link is great, but most of the content I work on doesn't have synced timecode between devices.
