Visual Echo/Trailer - where are they?

I just joined here, started using FCPX about a year ago. I make videos for the music I write and record.

I was curious about the effect of a visual echo, did a search and found that it's a new feature in 10.2. Great! But... where is it? It's not in my effects browser, and I can't find it anywhere else. And the strange thing is that if you search the net, you get a ton of product announcements for 10.2, but no how-to's, nothing.

I'm obviously doing something wrong, so any help would be really appreciated.

There is a Visual Echo effect in the current version of FCP in the Tiling group.

Search in the search box at the bottom of the effects browser. Not sure if it does exactly what you want.

Thanks, Tom, that's exactly what I was looking for. I looked through what I thought was every effect folder, but apparently not. I didn't know about the search feature, now I do.

The learning curve keeps smacking me in the face.

I'd love see a more affordable version of BCC Time Unit. It's $199.

Temporal Blur could be interesting for sports. There may be a threshold type parameter determining how much change in motion before the effect is used.
