Exportation question

Hello All,
I have a quick question. I am exporting my project to be bought online via digital download, and I just wanted to get your thoughts on what I should export at. I have the current file at approximately 191 gigs while exported at apple pro res hq. There is no way someone is going to buy a movie for 191 gigabits of data.
Any ideas?

Bought for what? Stock footage? To view and enjoy?

When you buy some stock footage clips at, e.g., Pond5, you usually have the option to choose between H264 and ProRes422. A typical short clip of approx. 15 seconds in ProRes422 at FullHD (1920x1080) would have a size of 500 MB max. So I suspect that either your clip is quite too long for a stock footage snippet, or something is wrong with your export options.

To view, not to use. You don't need HQ. A good quality H.264 would be fine.

ProRes is meant for editing not distribution. Files are huge but easy on the processor to handle during editing. For distribution try H264 in an mp4 wrapper. You can choose a data rate much lower than the Pro Res original and still maintain quality.
