Create new project with selected clips

In DaVinci Resolve one of the features in the Edit Page is the ability to sort clips by their relevant metadata - for instance by shot or scene number - then select just those clips and create a new Timeline which is automatically populated by the clips in your selected sort order. In other words, a quick rough cut could be put together in this manner.

Since FCPX has superior handling of metadata - is there a way of creating a new Project from all selected clips in the Browser based on Favorites, Keywords, other metadata, etc. with a specified sort order?

Can't create a new project from, but you can make a new project and append it with all the clips in a search and order criteria.
