Hi Everyone,

I finally took the jump, and I invested in a Macbook pro 13.3"

I've been fly fishing and Mountain biking for a while now, and I started using an action camera (not a gopro) this year and the trust windows laptop just wants cutting it for me being able to attempt editing my videos for youtube which is my aim.

Im really here to learn, read up and get as much advise as I can get to make my videos up to a good standard in terms of editing and for people to enjoy them as much as they possibly can.

I've started watching all the tutorials I possibly can and was wondering if there are any basic things I should do with FCPX to get the best out of my experience?

any good free plugins (I'm a bit down on cash till payday due to investing in the macbook and software)

I'm interesting in colour improvement is there anything I should know specifically?

Can anyone share experiences for me that relate to my activities that might help me?
