New to the Forums

Hello My fellow editors! im happy to be apart of the fcp community. I will try my best to play the best role I can as an active member!
My question at the moment is about some missing files i have. i believe in the mess of editing a project i may have deleted some original necessary files i am using in the timeline. Since i edit in proxy i see all the footage but when i try to preview it in orginal/optimized it says the files are missing! (original files are lost) what do you guys suggest i do with this issue. Do i continue to export final version with those 5 clips missing original data and keep them in proxy or is there another method i can use. Im sure if i keep it in proxy the quality is diminshed slightly.

so my issue in a whole is i have 5 clips where somehow clearing up space i have deleted but in fcpx i still have the proxy version
