adjust accelerated sequences size and placement was created by mat.moreau
HI
Please pardon my non nativ english, i'm french.
I'm editing a video with FCPX (and I'm new to it, a little lost after switching from FCP6 directly to X) So here is my problem : I did a shooting of a very long static scene showing a guy painting a wall during few days and i want to accelerate it. But during the shooting, i started the recording about more or less 20 times and the caméra has slightly moved each time. Generaly i correct this manualy but this time, it starts to be a very huge work as there is a lot of cuts and i got this very same problem on maybe 4 or 5 other shootings. Including the fact that my manual corrections remains always a little .... amateur .... approximate.
So obviously it remains possible to do it manualy but it will take me a very long time, so before starting the odissey, i was wondering if anyone knows a automatic or shorter way to resize and re-adjust all sequences together.
( by the way i never solved this problem neither when working on FCP6 )
I've tried to export the whole scene with all sequences together then use the "stabilisation" tools but the result is pretty bad.
Now, if it is confirmed that there is no other particular way than manual, then i'm also wondering how is it possible to create some static landmarks on the screen as a visual reference to adjust manualy the sequences one by one. (such as the landmarks you can place or remove anytime on your photoshop screen for text or images alignments )
I hope my explanation was clear enough.
Please help !!
