I forgot to select "copy to library" on import. was created by flaminghick

I created proxy media which is in my Library, on my computer. The files I was importing were on another drive and I meant to copy them to the library, but didn't have the "copy to library" box clicked. I'd like the original files to be inside the Library as well, linked so I can switch between proxy and original. How can I make that happen without duplicating anything or having to remake the proxy files? I have already spent a good amount of time on the cut.

Replied by Tom Wolsky on topic I forgot to select "copy to library" on import.

Change the library properties for the media to store in the library. Then with the library selected in the browser use the Comsolidate function.

Do this with an OS X formatted drive.
