echo remover crashing via fxfactory

Hi group, wondering how many people downloaded the plugin and have an error on launching fcpx.

They told me 12 people reported this, and I'm like 12 people????

I actually contacted CrumplePop about another of their plugins. In pointing me to an updated version of the plugin (why do they not make these freely available on their website - in fact, there is not even a "Support" area) they apologized for the delay in getting back to me. The updated plugin solved my problem, but in their apology they mentioned that they were dealing with a small bug in EchoRemover that a handful of users were having and my request got caught up in the whirlwind.

So they seem to be working hard on a resolution.

Hi are you saying the echo remover or a different plugin. They emailed me today 4 days later but they want me to provide a log report...

FXfactory said they have no idea what to do... if you have the plugin can you forward it?

No, sorry for any confusion - here's the whole story.
I emailed them asking about AutoBalance. It did not work with the latest MacOS and latest FCPX.
They misread that and assumed I was asking about EchoRemover. They told me they were working hard on a resolution and asked me to send a System Report.
I wrote back saying I wasn't asking about EchoRemover but sent a Syst. Rep. anyway.
They wrote back and apologized for the mixup, saying that my request got "caught up in the whirlwind" of the EchoRemover bug they are experiencing. They pointed me to the AutoBalance update, which fixed my problem.

I hope they get this worked out - I still enjoy supporting them, as they have been longtime FCPX believers.

Ok well it's like I said a lot more than 12 people... That's a major re-write...

Chiming in here. Downloaded the trial of ER, never opened it, but FCPX crashing on trying to export (share) Master file. Came here, found this thread, uninstalled ER, all is good.

I have faith they will resolve it: hopefully before I have to mix current project!
(the problem probably is related to the fix of the timecode display

Downloaded today the full version of Echo remover, after trying the trial version, and no problem whatsoever using it.

Late 2015 iMac 4GHz
16Gb memory and 4Gb Video memory

Opened up FXFactory app and Updates text flashed. Downloaded the EchoRemover update.

Ok guys you're all right they fixed it I think... version 1.14 at least it allows fcpx to startup. But i did have some odd crashing I'll have to continue testing.
