Hi Cinema
Were they ever there or is this a new project and clip?
Is it possible that either there was no sound recorded or that the levels during recording were very low?
If later, try applying the "Gain" effect from the Effects browser, then in the inspector pane, audio tab, scroll down and boost the gain. Are the waveforms now showing?
Do you hear the sounds while playing the clip?
Perhaps a screen shot?

Hope this helps, Greg

I copied the files from another project and they files were set to not display waveforms in that project. However we I try to change after pasting into new project, it doesnt show correctly. I can hear everything, but cannot edit via waveform.

Hi Cinexa
"I copied the files from another project and they files were set to not display waveforms in that project."
If you can go back to the originating project and select "Show Waveform" and then re-import I think this will get the waveforms to appear.
This is just a guess, but makes sense to me. In the underlying frameworks in AV Foundation, the asset properties are getting set to not display waveform and this is sticking to the media.
This is somewhat like what happens in Motion where you forget to "Publish" a parameter to FCPX. In FCPX you can see (hear) the effect parameter, but you cannot alter any changes to the effect.
You told the clip to not publish the the Waveform before you exported the clip to your new project. This is just part of the coding of the program.
While I don't think this is a bug, you might, so you could send "Feedback" to Apple asking for it to be changed.
Hope this helps, Greg

Just had a possible work around idea.
You might try to "Detach Audio"
The Audio should now be a separate clip and in the viewer the waveforms may appear.
Haven't tried it, may or may not work, but worth a shot.

Hope this helps, Greg
