Titles for translation to multiple languages

I'm working on a project that I'll need to create multiple versions of in different languages.
The project has titles throughout. Right now I manually make a list of the titles and send to translation.
I'm wondering if there is a tool that can automate this process. For example, export the list of the titles for me so that I don't have to do it manually. That alone would save me time.
Any thoughts?

Thank you,

Thanks BenB - I have explored those tools but I found that they were more for subtitles rather than titles.
I also found that I had to export the xml with only titles in place for it to work. Unless I'm missing something...

Hi BenB,
Thank you for the link. I actually explored some of those options but found them to be more focused on subtitles rather than text on screen titles. I often have several title builds come up together on various areas of screen.
Also - I had to export a title only xml - so I had to strip all other layers from a project before exporting the xml. If there is a way to export an xml and select titles only somehow, I haven't discovered it yet.
Also - when I re-imported, it didn't maintain any of the style attributes I originally had, and placed them in linear - rather than layered...
Unless I missed something - this isn't exactly the tool I need. It would be great for subtitles for sure and I will take advantage of it when I do need to do subtitles at some point.
Did I miss something? Or can you think of any other title export tools?
Thanks again.

Mary,

My X-Title Tools can be a good choice for you. Those can be found on the website Ben mentioned.

There is one feature which can be very helpful especially for you.

Let me explain a little bit:
There is an export/Import option for Spruce text STL. This was the subtitle format used formerly by Apple's DVD Studio. This is a simple (human readable) but powerful subtitle language. It uses SMPTE time code and it's comma delimited text (which somehow can bad). BUT as long the commas as a divider are there X-titles adds a tab character where need after the comma. This means the subtitle file can be opened with any spread sheet app on any platform.
You can send the subtitles you have as a STL file to your translator. (S)he can do the translation for example in Excel, sends back.

There is one problem which is valid for ALL available FCPX subtitle tools: working with the trackless concept.
Finally it is easy to solve once you understand the Roles function - be prepared for that ;)

Mary,

Obviously you missed something. I'm not sur what?
Have you read my response?

If you only a few titles export a compressed version of the timeline and sen it to the translator. (s)he writes the translation. You type it into your titles.
If the translator has access to FCPX just send her/him the XML.
