Hi Guys!
I'm trying to do some videos for youtube with FCP X and while i was watching some videos on the platform, i saw this kind of lines and circles following the players.
Anyone has an idea of how to do it on FCP X?
Here is an example:
Thank you all!

Hi Adriano,
This is done with specialized realtime graphics hardware used in sports broadcasting. Of course you can also do this in an NLE, but it will take a lot of time. Check out TrackX/SliceX for tracking, or do it right inside Motion 5 using the existing tracker.

What Ronny said …
for example, my simple plug-in
www.fcp.co/forum/generators/23254-callout-dotlinedot
asks for manual keyframing - which is for a short sequence and lil' action = less precision ok.
But the dotted-line in your example asks for 'automation'; if you own Motion, that can be accomplished, made a test some time ago, have a look here >> click to YouTube
Better and easier results ask for the tracker products from coremelt.com, Ronny mentioned before.......
btw: thanks for pushing my attention to that YTchannel, very interesting for me ol' soccer-nerd!!

Mind you, Karstin's version is a static shot, not a shot panning across the field from afar. That presents extra challenges.

XEffects has a Telestrator as part of its toolkit. See at 38 seconds (seems I can't use time link in this forum).
There was a Telestrator app at one time but I can't seem to find it.
