Change all multicam events to one take?

Hi Guys,
Long time reader, first time poster.

Is there an easy way to do this?
I do a lot of live events with multiple cameras, 2hrs plus.
The clients also requests a wide shot of the event with timecode for analysis.

Ive tried to marquee select all events and change camera angle but doesn't appear to work, the selections are greyed out.

I could just start a new comp with the wide shot, but then I would have to go through again and chop out all the dead sections to match my marker/chapter track, lot more work.

Any suggestions appreciated.
