Simple problem with Importing media

Hey Everyone
I am sure there is a simple answer but I am stumpped at the moment?? Any Help much appreciated.

I have all my media MP4 on an external hard drive.

I am trying to Import the media to FCP (latest version), for some reason I can't arrange the media by (Content Created). It does it for a little bit then when I scroll down it reverts back to another order?

I have rebooted computer, and FCP but no success, it seems like a little bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Any support would be great

So this is not about importing, but about sorting media in the Browser.

Are you doing this in list view, or filmstrip view?

What OS X version are you running?

In addition could you post screenshots that illustrate what you're seeing.
