Cannot send fcpx project to compressor and use a group (cluster)? was created by dfphoto
Hi group, spent a night trying to create a group (cluster) via thunderbolt and my older 17" mbp. I finally figured it out and can encode files to prores etc. However, I cannot send a fcpx project to compressor (using groups) to process.

Wondering if any can explain why this is not possible. Thanks

Only specific codecs and job types can use networked transcoding, and an FCPX project is not one of them.
