live dangerously and install FCP7 and FCPX on the same volume

Hi i went ahead like a crazy person and just installed FCPX on my system where i allso have FCP7.
Now i see al these warnings saying that you should have a separate boot disk for FCPX and FCP7
I have had no problems with FCP7 thus far.

Do you have both installed on the same drive? Does it work?

I did exactly the same and have no problems using both (but not at the same time).

I did also and have not had any problems.

I do have a question. In the generators panel I don't have color bars or countdown. I have seen these there in some tutorials. Do you have them?

They are mentioned in the help system but I cannot find them either. I will try to work this out tomorrow morning!
