How to create an effect as if I'm entering in the iPad screen

Hey guys !
New here but I've been working for two years now with fcpx.
For a new personal video that I want to do (trip to Costa Rica), I would like to have someone looking at an iPad where plays footage I shot with a drone, and that the viewer "enters" in that screen.
For the footage on the iPad, I was thinking about using Track X (core melt), but for the "entering the screen" effect, what do you suggest ? Just a crop and trim with keyframes ?
Thank you so much !
