is it true, that the FCP 7 is the last issue of FCP and that FCP X is a new program/software??

7.0.3 was the last. X is a completely different application. I suggest downloading the trial version.

Hopefully we never see track based Final Cut again...I left those painful days in the past, and never ever want to deal with track again....X is such a pleasure to edit, takes the pain out of decisions, and the time wasted is now spent making more creative decisions free from clip collisions...Thanks for memories 6...I have to move on...
