FCPX 10.2.. Playback Glitches and Studder

Im running a CustoMac. I'm thinking it may be a problem with my Nvidia Cards. GTX 970 SLI. But it's such a strange issue to be only attached to FCPX. Nowhere else are there performance problems, as a matter of fact, my benchmarks are outstanding.
I saw something that looked like a similar issue in another forum involving Adobe Premiere and the new OS. Apple said they were aware of the problem, and I'm wondering if it's related.
If anyone else has experienced this strange glitch, please let me know, I've been unable to edit on my main machine for over 2 months now.
Thanks
Rob

Playback in any other software(QuickTime, Premiere, Resolve...) is all fine. But in FCPX it gives this persistent studder and occasional artifacts in the image... Im running a CustoMac. I am currently doing a lot of performance testing on FCP X 10.2.2 and Premiere Pro CC 2015.0.2 on top-spec 2015 and 2013 iMac 27s (both on El Cap 10.11.1), also a 4Ghz Windows 10 machine (Premiere only). Playing back H264 1080p, I don't see any major playback stutter. However in general FCP X is much more responsive than Premiere. Using H264 4k, there is definite playback stutter on FCP X but it's expected and typically 1/2 sec or less. On Premiere it's much worse -- often 5 second viewer lag -- on both Windows and OS X. I'll post more on this later. Using proxy mode in FCP X makes 4k fast and fluid, even for multicam.
Are you playing back with viewer set to "Better Quality" or "Better Performance"? Try "Performance" if you have not. What codec and resolution are you using? Can you try transcoding to proxy, changing the viewer mode and see if it still stutters? That may help isolate the problem.

Are you using the latest nVidia drivers available directly from nVidia?

Thank you for the response. Here is a list of what I have tried.
*Resetting Preferences
*Uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia drivers
*Changed playback from best quality to best performance(sli 970's.. I don't have this issue on any other software..)
*Reinstalling FCPX
*Fresh clean install of OSX.
P.s.. Is it possible to upload a video description? I could upload a YouTube link...

You are showing playback in the Import window... that will be limited by the card you are importing from. If it stutters after import that is another matter.

… and the connection btw card and computer, e.g. usb2 is in most cases too slow, or too-much traffic on the same usb-'rail' ....
