New here and my first post.
Everything, movies and stills are soft after editing in FCPX. The problem is most noticeable with stills. Still files are edited in LightRoom/PhotoShop exported as 1920 x 1080 tiff. After export to the desktop and viewed in Preview the files have not deteriorated. Files are imported into FCPX , v 10.2.2. When viewed in the Browser all is well. Place the file on the timeline, Share a Master File to the desktop and view with Quick Time the resolution has deteriorated considerably. This situation exists with movies and stills.
I am editing on a iMac 5k, 27 inch (late 2014), 4GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Graphics is a AMD Radeon R9 M295x 4096 MB.
The files originate in a Lumix GH4 or GH3. Stills are RAW, movies .MOV 4K and 1080p.
Thank you for all comments, suggestions.
