Avid DNxHD?

Hi all.

I just got an Atomos Ninja Blade external recorder, which aside from needing the strength of Superman to get the caddy out of the device seems to be a really neat unit.

This may be a really dumb question, but part of the set up there is an unlock code that I can use to get access/record to Avid DNxHD/HR files.

So what are those, and if I am happy with Pro Res, do I even need to consider these.

Thank you all geniuses.

Jonathan

Good to have, but don't bother installing unless you're using Avid.

Thanks Tom.
