FCPX crashes using ColorFinale...

I'm getting quite frequent crashes where FXPX tells me it "crashed while using the ColorFinale plug-in". Is anyone else seeing this? latest version of ColorFinale... Saw this in Yosemite and now also in El Cap...

The only two recurring crashes I see is using Titles/fonts and ColorFinale. Other crashes are rare and no real pattern... (not seeing many other crashes at all)

I had the same issue, and I believe there was a conflict with the trial vs purchased license. Denver's team was very responsive and I haven't had a crash since.

Happens for me as well from time to time. Still on Yosemite. Willing to cope with the occasional crash even if it is related to Color Finale. It is such a fine, fine plug-in.

Hmm, I don't think I ever had the trial version... So that shouldn't be it.

Yes, if it was any less useful plug-in I would just throw it away. But there should be an update soon one would think, it's been awhile.

Sorry I can't remember the name of the plugin but it was one of the third party quicktime plugins that you probably won't need anyway, and once that's in the bin it should all work pretty reliably again.

Just email the Colorfinale folks at support@colorfinale and they will tell you which plugin to delete.

Thanks, good to know I'm not alone. Have emailed Denver.

I emailed the last crash log to their support email address and got a quick reply that there's a fix for whatever issue I'm having in the next update...
