Can anyone explain why when i export a ProRes from FCP that my Media name Apple ProRes HQ does not always contain brackets i.e..

apple ProRes 422 (HQ)

This would be very helpful if its an export issue

Not sure what you're talking about. Could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing and explain what youre expecting to see.
