Hi folks,
Since there's a million Photoshop-centred magazines around, I was wondering if there are any good video editing magazines around that focuses on FCPX ?
Regards,
Doiug

Hi Doug,
None that I know of. And I don't think releasing a paper magazine is something I would do anymore these days. But if you google fcpx you will find lots of blogs and forums dedicated to the application. And, of course, this very website is undoubtedly the most complete and up-to-date source of information about FCP X that you can find. I don't think any magazine could ever compete with it

There is someone who does an FCPX news site, which simply collects articles from all over once a month. Forget the name and URL. But it is out there.
As much as I love this web site, there is a lot out there, some very valuable resources, that this site simply misses. Such as the macProVideo free tutorials and articles (I no longer write for them, so I'm not promoting). But yeah, this site is one of the more valuable resources, but not "the" one and only complete site.

I dare to say 'dead tree distribution' is in a dead end.
And you have to differ one-man-shows as fcp.co, which get their special quality by the community and their participation; and 'real' magazines with a staff of editors.
Wild comparison: the excellent "in under 5minutes" tutorial/recipes by rippletraining .... 8.000 clicks on YT ... ,ost PS magazines are filled with "How tos", but for a nationwide magazine on paper, that's beyond any business.....
No, video-edizing is a niché .....

Here's the site I was talking about. A great news roundup for FCPX users.
