Where's my optimized media?

Where's my optimized media? was created by ptrush
Hello everyone!
I just optimized a bunch of footage I shot on an a7S at 60 fps, but I can only select the automatic speed option to get nice, stutter free, slow motion in my 24 fps timeline. If I try to change it to any other speed (like %50), its quite stuttery.
Thats all fine and dandy, but I was wondering if I transcoded to optimized media if the codec would allow better performance for slowing footage rather than looking at XAVCS (H.264) files.
Pluss, I will be shooting to an external recorder starting next week that records ProRes 4k, and other flavors of ProRes.
Well I transcoded all the XAVCS files, but when I look at clips in the info pallet, it's still showing an H.264 codec for all of the clips.
Is this just a bug, and FCPx isn't showing that I've transcoded to ProRes?
I don't think so because if I 'reveal in finder' form the browser, it takes me to the old clips in the 'Original Media" folder, and not the "Transcoded Media" folder.
I tried to relink the clips in one of my events, but FCPx won't allow me to navigate passed the Library file to point to 'transcoded media'..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hey Pippin,
It's not a bug, and what you see is correct. In the Clip Info tab FCP X always shows the native format of the clips.
If you have optimized the media, you will see a green button next to "Optimized" in the Available Media section of the Inspector. This means that there is also a ProRes version of the clip available and FCP X will use the optimized ProRes media instead of the native media.
Reveal in Finder will always bring you to the original media, never to the optimized clips. You never need to access any of the optimized media, FCP X automatically uses them instead of the native media wherever they are available.
