from your frontpage article:
Help the Old Man over the street, please - can not find this offer at coremelt.com
aside:
After reading your article, plus watching coremelts own tutorials, I come to the conclusion:
Nice write, love it when tech is explained with some fun, … and your video examples are a bit ... 'click optimized', right? ...
…There is a 14 day trial you can download in order to do your own test run. As of this writing DriveX by itself is $99 (USD) and existing TrackX/SliceX owners can upgrade for $49. …

DriveX delivers x/y/z plus rotation data to any Motion Generator - simple spoken?

to answer my own question:
I've send a request to coremelt, and in less than an hour Roger replied - keep timezones in mind! That's a respond time by military standards LOL
On the order site, owners of TrackX/SliceX can simply enter their serial# to get a 40% discount.
Hopefully, I find the next days some time to play wih my new toy

There is no Z (depth) tracking, as this is planar, not 3D tracking. The advantage is that a particle emitter, for example, will react naturally to movement. Without DriveX, it will be static and act as it would sitting still, even during movement. You can map the X and Y tracking data to pretty much any parameter in Motion. With TrackX and SliceX, you can't.
As for the upgrade, if you hit the "Buy" button, there are specific instructions on that page:
If you have already purchased SliceX/TrackX with Mocha, enter your serial code in the coupon box in order to obtain a discount on DriveX.
