Can't import files into FCPX

Hi, I have a problem importing files from my C100 and 5D3. Yesterday I had no problem but today I go to import the files and nothing happens..... I see the import icon start to spin then it hits 100% in seconds but still no file.

I'm in the middle of a shoot and need to get these files in FCPX ....... Please Help!

- Has anything changed in your setup since yesterday?
- Do the clips on the card play ok in the import window and can you skim through the clips?

Hi Ronny thanks for getting back to me. I think I found the problem. I imported some files into FCPX and a few days later deleted them to get more hard drive space. Today I re-imported them and nothing happened! Then I changed the file name and then it imported it no problem.

Is that a bug in FCPX? Crazy!

Please send feedback to Apple about this. Some actions such as deleting files are not always remembered when you re-open the project. So FCP X thinks the files are still there while they have been deleted, and of course it won't let you import files that are already imported. Changing the file name was a great idea.

Thanks Ronny, Yea I freaked out because I've been shooting all week with a client and needed to down load some files. I'll send a report to Apple.
