Have FCPX open with no libraries opened? (Work at a PEG Station)

I'm trying to pitch ideas to have FCPX used at our PEG station. First issue I can already see is having 8 different producers coming in and using the computer and leaving, and having about 8 different libraries opened all at once, or even more libraries, depending on how the producers like to manage their files.

This could get confusing for producers using the computer, because they could accidentally get into someone else's library and move files or delete files.

Other than telling the producers that they have to Close their library when they leave for the day, is there any other way to make this easier? Is there a default way of having FCPX open to where it does not have any Libraries opened at all, forcing you to go and find the library you want to have opened?

You could give each producer their own personal login. That way they don't get access to each others work at all.

The only other thing to do is write a Automator script that launches FCPX with the Option key held, if that's even possible.

Or just have producers right-click the Dock icon and select their own Library to open.

you can also use the command editor to map a hotkey for “close library” and teach them to press that shortcut before quitting. or if you’re really sneaky, remap “close library” to command-q

I'd like to do the personal login option, but everyone will be working off the same external hard drive, so that might not work. Or will it?

I really like the command q remap idea!

You can't remap most system level commands, such as Cmd+Q.
And there already is a commend to close a Library, Shift+W.
All users can have access to the external hard drive, with different logins, no problem.

Maybe a combination of personal logins that controls what the user has access to on the external media drive and an application like Final Cut Library Manager from Arctic Whiteness. I use that all the time, set so that it launches Final Cut with just the selected library open.

Use the library manager as the interface for selecting and launching the libraries along with some sort of user permissions control to limit which projects they can see.
