Clips are in timeline but not in browser. was created by Jonathan Levin
This must be my week for problems.
Today I opened a library that had just one project, and what should have been about a dozen clips in the browser.
My project has all 12 clips, but the only thing that showed up in the browser was the project. Weird.
When I went to the project and selected a clip in that and then did a "Reveal in Browser", the clip would then magically appear in the browser. I did this for all 12 clips but has any one had this happen to them before? It's times like this that I wish you could select multiple clips, then do a "reveal in Browser" and then have them all appear.
Before I did this, I did visit the relink files menu command but even when I located the original files, the clip would not show up in the browser.
Anyone care to tackle this one?
Thanks.
Jonathan

I get this problem whenever I send a project from iMovie (10.0.9) to FCPX, (10.2.2) however, this is not part of my normal workflow so i've never looked into it.

1st, verify your Browser clip filter menu is set to All Clips, and the search field is empty (for real empty). A screen shot would help.

I forgot I started this thread!
Ben- the browser was set to show all clips. I even thought to use the File>Update libraries and events command but apparently I did that some time ago. The other odd things is this project will not automatically back up. You and I went through this before. The last back up for my project was in June. I checked all the where-to-save-to options and they are all set up, just no back up!
I just opened the project just now and everything appears as normal. Maybe a one time thing? And now I notice after months, and some fiddling with Multicam tests, the library finally updated in the back ups
