Batch rotate? was created by timfo
Working with a lot of footage shot upside down (steadicam), and wanted to know if there's a trick to batch rotating instead of individually opening each clip in a timeline to adjust.

You can copy clip and past its attributes /shift-CMD-V/ to all you want on timeline

You should be able to select them all at once and make the change. Or make the change to one, select is, Copy, Select All, Paste Effects (or Paste Attributes).

Sure, that would work in a timeline, but my issue concerns all the clips in the event browser.
If I have 8 takes per scene shot upside down, I don't want to have to open them all in a timeline to adjust, review and select my take. I'd just like to be able to highlight all the upside down clips in the browser and have a way to change them all at once.
Currently, in FCPX, even selecting just one clip in the browser only gives you access to the Spatial Conform tool, not the Transform options.
I don't think I'm missing anything obvious here, but would love to be proven wrong.

Ah, the Browser, no, you have to Open In Timeline to get to all the Inspector controls. And you can't copy/paste like that in the Browser, nope. Yeah, may have to just do them one at a time, or, create a custom Compressor preset and export them all with that, to spin them right side up. Maybe. Then you'd have to re-import and would have two of everything. Hhhhmmm...
