Has anyone worked with 4K footage from the Canon 1DC? If so, do you use the Canon software tool to stitch together the ~4GB chunks first into a single QT file for each take or is it possible to skip that step and just ingest directly from the cards into FCPX and treat the 4GB chunks as separate clips?
