ColorFinale Plugin FCPX Bug

Hello.
I have 2 movies in timeline.
1. I apply to first movie ColorFinale (1lut, etc...)
2. i apply to second movie ColorFinale (another Lut, etc)

Then, when i click first movie and open Color Finale dialog from Inspector, automatically setting from seconds movie are applyed. But i want different settings.

Wow, that shouldn't happen. Have you notified Denver Riddle? I'll drop him a line to look at this thread.

Denver is tied up at IBC, but asked me to pass this along to you.

This is a rare bug that’s encountered when using Color Finale to ONLY apply LUTs. We are working on a fix to this.

In the meantime a workaround would be to simply add an additional layer (of anything could be color wheels, curves, etc) to disconnect this relationship between the various instances across multiple clips.

FCPX force me to render if just i click (no modify) ColorFinale Layer! I think its a Hudge BUG! Or maby Finale means to not modify previosly clips edited.

I am having several problems with Plug ins and or effects in FCPX 10.2.1. When I click the blue button to disable my effect , on exporting I get the filter applied any way.. Totally frustrating to say the least. I have to manually go through every clip and delete effect completely..
On a side note why cannot I select all clips and delete all Effects?? Or am I missing something? I am not talking about disabling, I am talking about removing.Deleting all effects from the timeline/clips at one go... I spent an hour going through clip by clip and deleting effects... :woohoo:

Most color grading effects will always need rendering, that's not a bug. Some effects are more process intensive than others. Having to render is not a bug.

I'm seeing quite a few crashes where the dialog box says it was because Color Finale (can't remember the exact phrasing now). Pretty much all crashes I get seem to be because of Color Finale. It's not super frequent and haven't figured out a pattern for the crashes but annoying none the less.

Are you talking about CF specifically or other plugins? Please give exact plugins or effects this is happening with.

Then I have no other answer at this point. There's occasional crashes and a dialogue box comes up saying something like "Final Cut crashed because Color Finale something or the other" no other plug-ins are mentioned. I'll do a screen capture next time it happens.
