I guess proper motion blur is not implemented in FCPX. Is there a third party plugin that does it?

Or create a custom effect in Motion using the motion blur controls, and the trails filter.

Thanks Ben. I did not find the motion blur commands but managed to create an effect for FCPX with the trail filter.

Yes, my bad, motion blur is a Project property and can't be keyframes or published. (sigh)
