Multicam audio issue

Multicam audio issue was created by Ronizz
Hi,
I have the following issue with multicam. I made a multicam file from 2 camera's but I can't get audio in the timeline. I want CAM1 to use audio and video and CAM2 only video.
When I watch the multicam file in the viewer, I can assign which camera to use for audio and video (yellow icon) and it plays well, including audio. As soon as I drag the file to my timeline, there is no audio and I can only switch video and cannot assign a camera to use audio and video. I looked in the inspector and assigned CAM1 for the active video angle. This seems to work for the icons; Yellow is active when I hoover the mouse over CAM1 and blue when I hoover the mouse over CAM2. However, still no audio. In the angleviewer the audio works just fine.
I have done multicam before with fcpx but this never happened.
Anyone an idea about this issue?
Many thanks!

I'm not entirely sure if I'm getting what the issue is.
This is the basic workflow for multicam. Maybe this will help.
• Bring your multicam clip into a project.
•Open the multicam viewer by clicking on the view Drop Down in the upper right corner of the viewer.
•If you only want one audio clip to to play without switching, Click the center icon in the upper left corner of the multicam viewer. (from left to fight the icons change the nature of cutting the multicam clip. Left is Video and audio-Yellow. Center is Video only-Blue. Right is Audio only-Green).
•Before you cut anything, right click on the unedited multicam clip in the timeline and choose Active Audio Angle>(whichever angle you want).
Now when you cut in the multicam viewer (or using keyboard shortcuts) only the video will change and the audio will remain the same.
I hope this helps.
If you are still not getting audio playback, double click on the multicam clip to open the multicam editor and make sure that the audio in the original clip wasn't accidentally disabled or turned down.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks, I found a solutions as well, I made a new multicam clip with 3 files: I exported the audio from the CAM1 file and imported it, used it as the main audio source together with CAM 1 & 2 and this did the trick for me. I thought that 2 source files wasn't enough to produce a multicam so therefore I created the extra audio file. I think it's a bug because after rebooting fcpx the multicam file with 2 files worked..
