Hi Gabriel
Welcome to the forums.
This is pretty easy in FCPX.
Click on the Titles icon (Big T icon in Effects Tool bar upper right area above Timeline)
In the Titles Effects select Build In/out
Scroll down to Typewriter
Add to Timeline by double clicking(starts at playhead) or drag and drop where you want it to start.
Select to highlight the Title clip
Open the inspector pane if not open (Cmmd 4)
Add the text, change font, size etc…
You can change the speed of the typing in the Inspector Pane using the "Duration" scale.
For the Sound effect of an electric or manual typewriter…
Click on the Sound Effects icon. (Looks like a Musical bar note)
Select Final Cut Pro Sound Effects
Scroll down to the Work/Home folder (You may need to click on the disclosure triangle left of Sound Effects Name to see list)
Scroll down and select either the electric or manual typewriter sound and drag to below your Title clip.
Now you will have to play with the "Duration" of the Title vs the overall length of the "Audio" track. You will need to first get the sound to match the typing then "Blade" the audio clip to stop extra typing sounds.
You can also "Retime" the audio clip. Select the audio clip and then click on the "Retime" effect (second icon from left in Effect tool bar or in the "Modify" menu)
You will just need to play with these till you are satisfied they match.
You can also do this in other ways including in Motion and by recording your own sound effects. This would give you more control. If you have Motion you can right click on the "Title" "Typewriter" and click on Open a copy in Motion. There you can add more control if needed and "Publish" the parameters to FCPX.

Hope this helps, Greg
