FCPX - Popping Audio in my export File When played on the TV

Someone PLEASE help.
I have tried a few things and nothing is working.
I have finished a short film and the audio sounds great on the timeline and when I play the export on the Mac it sounds great.
But when I convert it to mp4 or a ps3 HD mp4, the audio pops when I play it through my ps3 on my TV.
Can anyone please help??

Hi Jay, welcome to the forum.
If your audio plays perfectly in FCP X and in the exported video, this means that your audio is okay.
One thing you might check is if the audio levels are not too high in FCP X. When you play the timeline your audio meters should never go into the red. If they are too high, bring them down and export a new file. Try that file on your television.
If the levels are not too high, the problem is outside FCP X. It's impossible to tell you why it doesn't sound right on your television without actually being in the room. Maybe check the speakers of your television, or the cables of your ps3?

Were the original audio files 44000kHz or 48000kHz? I think this makes a difference. If your project is a 48k timeline and you are putting 44k audio files in there it might be a problem. Someone may be able to expand on this further.
If you need to convert the audio to 48k, Logic can do this, or even ITunes can convert files.

I wonder if there might be a problem with the MP4 conversion. If you read the OP again, it states that the audio popping occurs when converted to MP4. It could be the mentioned exported file plays fine because it is a master prores file and not MP4. Obviously if the MP4 that pops on the TV is the same one playing ok in the mac, then disregard this, but the way the OP is worded gives some doubt.
