FCPX not recognizing recovered library

FCPX not recognizing recovered library was created by montyrand
I have an iMac that I use for editing video. Recently the logic board went and I had to have it replaced by Apple. We thought maybe the hard drive was bad but it ended up being just the logic board. When they put the new logic board in, it wasn't working out quite well and for some unknown reason they had to reformat my hard drive. I lost all my Final Cut Pro libraries. When I got the computer back home I was able to recover 135gb's. I copied the libraries back into my movies folder but Final Cut Pro won't recognize any of the files inside. If I tried to create a new event with the same name as an event in that library already. It does tell me that it's already an event in there so the name is a duplicate, but again it still will not read the files within that folder. It appears that I can't re-link the files or at least get Final Cut Pro to recognize them. Is there anything I can do to get Final Cut Pro X to recognize this library? I feel like the data is there I just need to figure out how to get Final Cut Pro X to recognize it. Thanks for any help.

At a minimum, you could create a new library and then import your recovered original media into the new library. This doesn't help the project or editing that has already been done and lost. You may further be able to drag the "currentversion.flexolibrary" file into the root directory of the newly created library and the "currentversion.fcpevent" file into the new event folder, but this might be a long shot for success in restoring the project. FCPX re-linking can be a real headache, especially with files having been recovered and re-located such as yours.
And, obviously this situation makes the case for having backups of any important media and libraries.
If you post some screenshots of your recovered media folders and files, maybe other suggestions can be provided.
