Re-Link Media works only for clip by clip. HELP

Hello everyone,
maybe some of you know this problem. i got a xml from an assistent editor, imported the xml and now i want to to relink all the missing media.
when i select all missing clips and try to relink, nothing happens. when i try to relink one clip at a time, it works.
i already moved to clips to another location to check if fcpx has a problem with longer paths but that didn't solve the problem.

so, if anyone has an idea, i'd be more than grateful!
