Syncing already edited footage

I have this interview I did several years ago, and I could only find one camera angle, so I just went ahead and edited it as one camera angle. Of course tonight I found the other camera angle. I would have just made a multi-cam clip before editing if I'd had it at the start, but now the one angle I had initially is all sliced and diced and edited, so how can I easily sync up the other camera angle to these little pieces of the original camera angle? Or is there an easy way?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can try this: export your edited video to a master file. Import that master file and then create a multicam clip with the master file as angle 1 and your new unedited clip as angle 2. Using the audio as reference for the sync in your multicam clip. You should be able to locate matching sections in the timeline (although there will be dead audio spots for angle 1). Obviously wherever audio has been eliminated from the edited file there won't be a match to angle 2, but you might get enough common areas to provide the necessary cutaways for the interview.
