Hi Guys'

Thankfully I've been really busy with film work over the past six months and I'm still trying to work my way through half a dozen more edits, but as I add more and more into my Libraries etc, I'm increasing worried that my system is going to collapse (all running good at mo thankfully)
I have lots of finished films which have been supplied to clients, sitting in my Libraries/project/events section, so is there a tutorial out there that shows me how to successfully consolidate and remove these folders so myLibraries aren't looking so cluttered ?

Thanks for you help,

Neil

Thanks
I guess once all this is done I just delete file ?

Also - I guess It's wise to put all archived footage onto a separate hard drive from the hard drive where the original footage is kept ?

When the project and its according Events are archived, you can erase any 'other' files.

I guess It's wise to put all archived footage onto a separate hard drive from the hard drive where the original footage is kept ?

That is a wise strategy for any backups ... if optional, keep archive drives in a diff. room/house/continent ....

politically, or more in terms of earthquake, tsunami, impacts of space objects ...? :woohoo:

fun fact:
you can read a 500y old Gutenberg bible, but you can't read your floppy-disks from the late 80ies ...

and:
never have a talk with someone from a insurance company which insures insurance companies (that's an existing business model!) I once did, on some party ... those folks push 'paranoia' to a very new, aall time high level! e.g. Dubai is on a tectonic fissure as San Francisco ... now, imagine, you're in the Burj Kalifa and ... no, you shouldn't imagine that ..........
