Computer Screen Question

Hey Folks:

Strange question and I think the answer is no, but: Can I use the screen from my 2011 laptop with my 2013 Mac Pro Tube. It's just a temporary situation--normally work from a desk with dual thunderbolt monitors, etc.

But in this case, I need a very low profile. Would be working from a thunderbolt drive, too. I maybe could use the laptop but it's just too darn slow and there are missing plug ins, etc. So: can I run FCPX off the tube but look at the laptop screen.

You can use OS X's built-in Screen Sharing feature with any VNC client or another Mac, but the refresh rate on the screen will never be fast enough to accurately edit video. You could use it for colour correction or something but I get the impression that you don't want to wait, so this might try your patience.
