FCPX crashed iMac whilst Sharing video

Since the recent FCPX update I'm experiencing a total iMac crash of the sudden switch off, restart " your computer switched off because of a problem" type.

It only happens when I Share an edited video in FCPX, if I send it from FCPX via Compressor it is fine.

Anyone else experiencing this?

That's a pretty serious crash. You could try starting FCPX holding down the ALT and CMD keys to delete the preferences upon starting the app. That may help. If not, provide some details of your iMac specs, any external drive specs you are exporting to, and how much free space is available on your drives. Attempting to export to a drive with insufficient free space can cause crashes.

UPDATE: just realized you are able to export when sending to compressor, so drive space is likely ok. Still try deleting prefs.
