I want to make a similar text effect, but I don't know how to make the gradient in FNCPX. ¿Someone can help me?

a 3D Title, 'we' have in Motion/FCPX.
When you look close, there's a bevel ...
And then it is no gradient, but two lights, a blue and a white one...

My reenactment looks like this



,,, wrong font, and not a 100% like your example, but done in a few minutes.

trick: I've switched off the 'Apple lights' and applied two from Motion, to have better control.

And, you need Motion, 50$ worth any cent!
Don't forget to apply motion blur - they used a 'ton' of it in your example....

dare to say, that's no lense flare, in the PlugIns section of this board, there are free flares for download, but 'volumetrics', some call it 'God's finger'....
