Typewriter effect plugin
I'm seeking a really good typewriter text effect plugin for FCPX. The built in one is too basic for my needs. Recomendations please!
Thanks,
Benny Brunner

I want to control the pace a letter/word/sentence arrives on screen. And to be able to mix different letter size in one word and different words size in one sentence.

Hmm, in my opinion that has nothing to do with a typewriter effect.

I see ...
And I'm with Andreas ... 'cause, as I remember, my typewriters I used in the past didn't offer any options

anyhow ...
Sorry, to post again to a workshop of Mark&Steve, but they have an 'insane' output of tutorials, covering 'everything' you can do in and with FCPX & M5
Understanding the concept of 'sequential behavior', you can easiely construct your very own text-module, where letters fly to their final position in a line ....
btw: what I'm missing with Typewriter Effect is the typical sound of a typewriter, incl that "bing! ka-zapp!!" at the end of a line! :silly:

It did what Karsten and Ben asked for.
I lost all sounds (which were royalty free and created by my own) so the version didn't work any more.
In 2010 I created a version without sound effects. It uses TextEdit, GUI scripting plus a screen recorder to create a movie with white characters on black background . So it was easy to use as inverted Alpha or with "Screen".
I still have it some where in the archive.
If someone needs it let me know.
